History

At Helios Energy we have been providing renewable energy solutions to residential and commercial properties across the South East for over a decade.

Based in Surrey, and run by father and son duo Will and Laurence Clemson, we work closely with our customers to design and install renewable energy systems that best suit their needs. We ensure all our work is carried out with safety, quality and respect.

2014

Helios Energy was established by mechanical engineer Will Clemson after nearly 40 years in the solar cell and renewable energy industries. He joined forces with his son Laurence, who specialises in electrical installation, to complete the family-run solar PV business.

2015

Helios Energy becomes MCS accredited—an industry-led quality assurance scheme that provides proof that your renewables installation has been designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standard.

2018

The business expands to incorporate battery storage to its product offering. As such, Helios Energy becomes a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer.

2019

Following customer demand, Helios Energy expands once again to offer electric vehicle charger point installation.

  Such a great firm from planning and design after home visit, to fitting and replacement of faulty inverter for PV panels and powerwall 2 battery.  All working fine.  Already saving money. Charming fitters, (special mention to Gav). The owner (Will) fell and damaged his back at his home requiring in-patient treatment but still kept in touch. His Son Laurence took the reins smoothly and coordinated scaffolding, fitting and replacement of the faulty inverter to suit my schedule. Great Job.   I used Helios to supply and install a solar panel and battery system in April having had them them recommended by a neighbour and seeing the quality of their work.

They listened to my requirements and concerns and installed a system that I am very happy with. They did a great job installing the panels and running cables so they regained out of sight. They also installed the inverter and batteries in my garage to take up as little space as possible .

Their pricing is as competitive and they used good quality equipment.

I have had a couple of queries regarding system tuning since the install and they have assisted with these.
